By downloading or using Itminan ("the app"), you agree to these terms and to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Itminan is a personal companion tool, not a religious authority. Prayer times are astronomical calculations based on the method and settings you choose; they can differ from your local mosque. The app deliberately issues no religious rulings (fatwas). For questions of religious practice — calculation methods, madhhab positions, exemptions, making up prayers or fasts — please consult your local scholar. Qur'anic verses shown in the app are provided with widely used translations for reflection, not as legal or scholarly interpretation.
The core religious features — prayer times, tracking, reminders, Qibla, blocking for the five daily prayers, and the Qada ledger — are free and will remain free.
Blocking uses Apple's Screen Time technology and is entirely self-directed: you choose the apps, the windows, and can end blocking instantly at any time with the emergency disable control. Itminan is not a parental control product and must not be used to restrict another person's device. System apps such as Phone and Messages are never blocked. You accept that blocking depends on Apple's Screen Time framework and device settings and may not function if those are altered or restricted.
Your content (prayer logs, notes, habits) belongs to you. Our Privacy Policy describes how it is stored and the narrow, optional cases where any of it leaves your device. You can export or permanently delete everything at any time from Settings → Data & privacy.
You agree not to misuse the app — including attempting to disrupt the service, reverse-engineer it beyond what the law permits, use Circles to harass others, or use the app in any unlawful way. Circle join codes are for people you choose to share them with.
The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that prayer times match your local mosque, that notifications or alarms will always fire (iOS may delay or suppress notifications in some device states), or that blocking will operate in every circumstance. Do not rely on the app as your sole means of waking for Fajr or keeping any religious obligation.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Itminan and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for missed prayers, missed alarms, or any loss arising from use of or inability to use the app. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim.
We may update the app and these terms; material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date, and continued use after a change constitutes acceptance. We may discontinue features or the service; if a paid feature is permanently discontinued, we will comply with applicable law and Apple's policies regarding refunds.
These terms are governed by the laws of your country of residence to the extent its consumer law applies, and otherwise by the laws of the developer's place of business. Questions: waqascasstudent@gmail.com.
