Common questions

My prayer times don't match my mosque

Mosque timetables often apply their own adjustments. Open Settings → Prayer times and (1) check the calculation method suggested for your region, (2) set the Asr madhhab, and (3) use Manual corrections (±59 min per prayer) to match your mosque exactly. Corrections apply to reminders and blocking too.

Blocking isn't starting

Check: Blocker tab → Screen Time access is enabled, apps are selected, and "Block during prayer windows" is on. Blocking requires iOS Screen Time to be available (it can be restricted by device management profiles). The shield starts at the prayer time and lasts your configured window length.

I need to use a blocked app urgently

Every shield offers a 5-minute break (limited per window), and Settings → Blocker has an Emergency disable — hold for 5 seconds and all blocking stops instantly. Phone and Messages are never blocked.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple: Settings app → your name → Subscriptions → Itminan → Cancel. Apple's guide. Your Premium features remain active until the period ends.

How do I move my data to a new iPhone?

Either enable Premium cloud sync before switching (then "Restore from cloud" on the new device), or use Settings → Data & privacy → Export everything and keep the file in iCloud Drive. In Local-only mode, data lives only on your device — export before you switch.

A prayer time looks wrong at high latitude

Above ~48° latitude, twilight can persist all night in summer. Settings → Prayer times exposes a High-latitude rule (Middle of the Night, Seventh of the Night, Twilight Angle) — pick the one your community follows.

Delete my data / my account

Settings → Data & privacy → Delete everything removes all data from your device and, if you used cloud sync, from the cloud. No email needed — it's one tap.
